The Munticellu in Festa association is organizing its first Balagne Jazz Festival.
For this first evening, let yourself be transported by the spellbinding duo Claire Boni and Pierre Reboulleau, followed by the presence of the Mandy Gaines Quartet.

Opening the evening, the duo Claire Boni (vocals) and Pierre Reboulleau (piano):
Singer Claire Boni has found her partner, pianist Pierre Reboulleau. As part of the Duo "Nova" with Pierre Reboulleau, they continue to express themselves together in the intimate atmosphere that only the two of them can offer, with a freedom equal to their complicity...the soul of Jazz!
In the second half, Mandy Gaines Quartet with
Mandy Gaines (vocals), Nicola Sabato (double bass), Cédric Chauveau (piano) and Mourad Benhamou (drums):
Mandy Gaines' powerful voice evokes both the technical perfection of a Sarah
Vaughan and the sensitivity of Billie Holiday. Her style is close to that of Ella Fitzgerald, for, like her elder, she has that eternal youthfulness in her voice that makes her so unique. Mandy Gaines is one of those great black American singers who dazzles with her voice, her range, her swing, her scat, her symphonic inflections and her stage presence.
Since 2016, Mandy Gaines has been performing in France with the Cédric Chauveau trio. The perfect osmosis between the trio's musicians and the singer's infallible swing make this an orchestra that always receives a jubilant welcome from the audience at each of its performances.
